Although we can't take total credit, we would like to think our products made a winning difference.

Bowling Green entered an electric car race in Phoenix and won the race. In the car they used Nickel Iron batteries, which is relatively new technology and expensive. According to Chris DeHaan, Battery Research and Management Specialist, Bowling Green State University, Electric Vehicle Institute:

1.) "We did not have a battery failure at Phoenix. I think that this was due to equalization charging and the Pulser.
2.) We did not notice a change in charge time because we had to leave the track at night.
3.) Although this was the first time that we had the car at this track, the battery performance was what I would consider better than normal.
4.) We did not get any acid leaks or hot cell batteries."

Our product being part of the winning vehicle is important, but their positive experience over an entire year is even more significant. Their winning the race is a whole combination of factors coming together, one of which is using Solartech Products technology.
