TO: Attention Andre: During the month of December I had occasion to put my Can-Pulse device to the test. I had a Can-Pulse unit installed on my 1998 GMC pick-up in June 1998. The pick-up powered by a 6.5 Turbo Diesel engine is factory equipped with two 12-volt batteries. In the late part of December while travelling HWY 144, I experienced a fuel pump failure that caused the engine to shut down on the spot. Being a diesel mechanic myself, I attempted to re-start the engine by bleeding the fuel filter and cranking the engine repeatedly, believe me, I don't give-up easily and I cranked that (#!*!!#*) stalled 6.5 diesel over and over. Having owned two other pick-ups with diesels and twin battery arrangements I can confidently say that the Can-Pulse unit on this truck has increased the capacity of the batteries significantly. In any of my previous vehicles the batteries would not of have been able to keep up to the long and repeated attempts to restart this engine. (original signed) D.
