 This is a electron microscope picture, magnified 549 times, of a 6 month old battery positive plate used in an ambulance. Given the amount of sulfation, this battery has already reached the end of its service life. Note the large sulfate crystals on the battery plate and the severe erosion of the sponge lead plate material. Can-PULSE battery maintenance products were never used on this battery! |
