Telonix Communications Inc. ATTENTION: Mr. D Sutton RE Can-Pulse Charge Partner Dear Sir: I am writing to express my satisfaction with the Can-Pulse Charge Partner which I installed on my boat in August of this year. As an avid boater for a number of years, I can clearly tell you that the scourge of many mariners, time and time again, is failed batteries. Long storage times, limited usage and insufficient and in Some cases, inappropriate charging methods has led to many a spoiled weekend or outing for boaters. After a review of the literature for the Charge Partner in July/98, it appeared that finally someone had a product that may go a long way to resolving these charging system problems for boaters and I decided to install a unit in my boat. To provide a fair evaluation, the two batteries on my boat were tested with a Farrett Battery Tester, before installation~lation of the Charge Partner. To my surprise, battery # 1 (3 seasons) tested at 8.3 volts, which by shop standards should be replaced. Battery #2 (2 seasons) tested at 11 volts, still serviceable, but not strong to say the least. I decided not to make any battery changes at that time, but simply to install the Charge Partner and let the chips fall where they may. In Oct./98 as I completed the winterizing of my boat and prepared the batteries for storage, I duplicated the test with the Farrert Battery Tester with the following results - battery # 1 now registers 12.7 volts and battery # 2 registers 13.4 volts. Given that the installation of the Charge Partner at the very least saved the replacement costs of one battery and certainly seemed to strengthen the starting and charging system of my boat in the 2 months of installation. I am more than pleased to express my satisfaction with your product. G.R. Senay "Transcribed verbatim from the original" |
