- Battery was picked up from a Trucking Company, who claimed the battery was dead and no good. - Battery type - Mack Bulldog - CCA 650. - Battery date of installation June 1997. - CP-12 Charge Partner was connected to battery and charged on a trickle charge for 5 days. - Battery was checked on Dec. 7th and the specific gravity had decreased. - Battery was pulsed for one day and the specific gravity increased after 12 hours on Dec. 8/99. - The battery sat on a shelf until January 4, 2000.

The specific gravity was taken & also tested with a Volt Meter and a Midtronics model 450 digital battery analyzer
Results:
Jan 4- 0930 hrs. - the readings were taken before the battery was charged with the CP-12 Charge Partner.
Volt Meter - 12.72 volts Midtronics - Cold Cranking Amps  (CCA)- 469, 12.59 volts - replace battery. .
Jan 4-2200 hrs. - battery trickle charged with the CP-12 Charge Partner for 12.5 hrs
Volt Meter - 14.23 volts- Midtronics - CCA - 541, 14.02 volts - replace battery
Jan 5-1415 hrs. - battery trickle charged with the CP-12 Charge Partner for 29.75 hrs.
Volt Meter - 14.47 volts Midtronics - CCA - 591, 14.22 volts - good battery
